INVITATION

Dear Colleagues,
We cordially invite you to the 22nd International Colloquium on Lung and Airway Fibrosis, ICLAF 2024, to be held in Athens 12 – 16 October 2024. ICLAF, a biennial non-profit meeting, is organized in a different country every 2 years alternating locations between Europe, North America and occasionally Asia-Pacific, by an independent host on behalf of the international pulmonary fibrosis research community.
ICLAF 2024 will be held for the first time in Athens, Greece, the birthplace of democracy, philosophy, mathematical principles, the Olympics and medicine. Building on the legacy of previous conferences this constructive 4-day meeting, will provide you with the opportunity to interact with international experts, embrace the science and learn about the latest developments in pathogenesis, management and therapies for pulmonary fibrosis in plenary sessions and workshops, thus improving the outcome of global patients with this dreadful disease.

In October 2024, in Athens, let us all bring a new Breath into ICLAF.
We look forward to welcoming you to our capital, one of the oldest cities in the world.

WHY ATTEND

The purpose of ICLAF is to share both experience in the management of pulmonary fibrosis and new knowledge in pathogenic mechanisms of fibrogenesis. There will be extra focus on fostering collaboration between the international community, supporting for junior researchers and informing key stakeholders, including patient advocacy groups, about the latest scientific advances in the understanding and treatment of pulmonary fibrosis.
An additional feature that makes this meeting unique is its singularity, being the only international meeting dedicated to understanding and fighting lung and airway fibrosis.
